Customer is first to net-meter to Utah Power in
Idaho!
On Tuesday, July 11 Utah Power installed the special meter on our customer's home to
be the first to net-meter to Utah Power in Idaho.  This means that the customer (who
has a hybrid wind and solar system) can sell the excess power generated back to the utility
company.  Any power generated by their system that they are not using for their home
travels back through the special meter to the utility grid.  This has been a long time
coming for all of us.
